Dr. Rahmi Ramadhani, M.Pd. succeeded in obtaininggrantasVisiting Scholarthrough the programPostdoctoral Joint Excellence in Science and Humanities (JESH)funded byAustrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW), class of 2025. JESH is a research mobility scheme that promotes collaboration between outstanding young researchers from abroad and academics in Austria. This program reaches researchers from 61 target countries, so this achievement places Dr. Rahmi is among the selected academics who passed the selection at the international level.

Visiting Scholar activities last for six months, from June to November 2026, and are held atJohannes Kepler University Linz (JKU Linz),precisely inLinz School of Education, Department of STEM Education. During the program, Dr. Rahmi was supervised directly by Univ.-Prof. Zsolt Lavicza, Ph.D., one of the experts and developers of the GeoGebra application.
While running the program, Dr. Rahmi carried out research collaboration with the GeoGebra team and other researchers at JKU Linz, to beexternal examineron student defense proposalsPhD Linz School of Education, as well as delivering material on the theme "Integrated Ethnomathematics through Embodied Learning for Mapping Student's Numeracy Profile in STEAM Context." This material is part of his research program which integrates ethnomathematics, especially the cultural traditions of North Sumatra, into STEAM-based numeracy learning.

In line with JESH's goal of encouraging "brain circulation", namely a two-way exchange of knowledge between Austria and target countries, the results of this collaboration are expected to strengthen the development of research and mathematics learning at the Main Potential University as the home institution after Dr. Rahmi returned to Indonesia

Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Education (FISK), Main Potential University, Dr. Ashari P Swondo, M.Hum congratulated Dr. Rahmi received a Postdoctoral scholarship in Austria. This achievement is an extraordinary achievement and is a matter of pride, especially for the English Language Education Study Program (PBI) at Potential Main University, where one of the lecturers was successful and recognized as a World Standard Outstanding Young Researcher. "Hopefully his achievements and accomplishments can inspire and motivate the academic community on our campus," he added.
