Gathering: Initial Meeting of Baitul Maal Muamalat FEB Scholarship Recipient Students at Main Potential University
Medan, 2 June 2026 – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Potential Main University held a Gathering (Friendly Meeting) for the Initial Meeting of Students Receiving Baitul Maal Muamalat (BMM) Scholarships. This warm and family-friendly activity aims to strengthen friendship and at the same time provide motivation to students before undergoing their study period.
The event, which was held on the Potential Main University campus, went smoothly and was attended by 12 scholarship recipient students from three study programs at the Faculty of Economics and Business, namely the Accounting Study Program, Management Study Program and Sharia Banking Study Program.
The Dean of FEB, Main Potential University, Mr. Alim Murtani, M.A., in his speech expressed his pride and gratitude to Baitul Maal Muamalat for giving full trust and support to the education of outstanding students.
"This scholarship is not just financial assistance, but a big trust. We at the Faculty of Economics and Business are committed to assisting students to be successful academically and with character. Congratulations to the 12 selected students from the Accounting, Management and Sharia Banking study programs. Let this be a morale booster," said Mr. Alim Murtani.
The representative from Baitul Maal Muamalat, Mr. Budi Syahputra, S.Pd., CWC, gave a short speech and motivation that ignited the enthusiasm of the students. In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of integrity, discipline and responsibility as a scholarship recipient.
"We not only provide financial assistance, but also want to give birth to a superior generation who will later be useful to society. Make the most of this opportunity. Don't be embarrassed to ask questions and don't stop trying," said Mr. Budi Syahputra enthusiastically.

The core session of this event was Gathering Rama, where scholarship recipient students had the opportunity to interact directly with the Baitul Maal Muamalat Team. In a relaxed but meaningful atmosphere, students discussed their study targets and shared stories about their backgrounds. The BMM team also provides technical direction regarding rights and obligations when receiving a scholarship.
This activity is an opportunity to get to know each other as well as build a shared commitment to carry out the scholarship program with full responsibility.
By holding this Gathering, the Main Potential University and Baitul Maal Muamalat hope that this collaboration can continue and produce superior graduates who are competitive and have noble character, especially from the Accounting, Management and Sharia Banking Study Programs.
